Our “No Questions Asked” Refund Policy:
Our policy is unique because our rate of customer satisfaction is very high. With West Point Driving School, payments are considered refundable deposits for one year, and your package pricing is “locked in”. Deposited funds are reduced as you use services.
That means for an entire year it’s still your money until you use it! Within this period upon request for any reason, we will gladly refund 100% of the amount you paid, minus the a-la-carte price of any services provided in good faith according to the fees posted on this website at the time of payment. Please allow four business days to receive a check, or to receive a credit on your card. After one year of inactivity, unclaimed and unused deposits are forfeit. Online driver’s education is non-refundable. West Point Driving School reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. In the rare case that we decide to refuse services, we will issue any refund due in accordance with this policy.
If You Need to Cancel an Appointment:
Whether it’s an illness, death in the family, or conflicting schedules, we know you have good reasons if you need to cancel or reschedule. It’s never a problem to cancel an appointment, but… If you must cancel with less than 24 hours notice, the fee for holding the unused time slot is $40. To cancel, please call our staff or leave a voicemail at (916)381-3211 anytime, seven days a week. A voicemail is sufficient to cancel, but please listen to your recording before you hang up. A late cancellation also applies if you’re not prepared with a permit when an instructor arrives.
If You Need to Change Your Pick-up or Drop-Off Location:
If you wish to change the pick-up or drop-off location for an appointment, please call us in advance! It’s usually not a problem if the new location is within our service area, but when your appointment was originally scheduled, we checked the travel time to and from other students’ appointments. We may not be able to accommodate the change unless we shorten the length of your appointment. (All teens must receive at least 6 hours of instruction.)
Special Service Fees:
The following fees may be changed without notice. Current fees shall always be posted on this website.
$40…….Holding an appointment which is canceled with less than 24 hours notice
$40…….Processing checks returned due to insufficient funds
$10…….Replacing lost or damaged DMV certificates (Allow 3 business days for delivery.)
Online or by telephone, we collect information about you only as necessary to provide our services. This includes telephone numbers, addresses, and email addresses of students or family members who need to be informed, in particular parents or guardians who must consent for use of our services. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties other than the California Department of Motor Vehicles or to other agencies as required to provide services, or as otherwise required by law. We may use your information to contact you regarding currently scheduled or unscheduled future services, for collection of debt or for other administrative needs as necessry to provide our services efficiently. All information is protected using a variety of security measures including password protected databases. Sensitive credit card information is transmitted via Secure Soceket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers only to be accessible by those authorized with special access right to such system. All staff are required to keep your infomation confidential.
