free!" ...as if that's something special. If you've
never shopped for a driving school before, what are you to do?
The DMV says you should check that the driving
school is licensed. Okay, but there are plenty of bad
driving schools with valid licenses. (And some of them
do a lot of advertising.)
When I'm looking for any service,
I read online reviews. I check their business policies
— A client's rights should be spelled out! The staff
should be courteous and knowledgeable, with the authority to
address any concerns. When it comes to the safety
of my family, I want the best in the business!

There will never be
other students in the car!
Almost every other driving school "piggybacks" to
increase profit. This is a terrible practice!
Lessons are more stressful, and it can be dangerous
because the student is required to drive to the next
student's house, sometimes via freeways, ready
or not!
It also means every lesson takes up to 30 minutes
longer. We believe your time should focus
on you — Not transporting strangers.
Please don't be fooled: "one-on-one
instruction" does not mean
they don't piggyback.

Yes, parents are always welcome to ride
along!
It's up to you, but consider this: There are
reasons most driving schools don't allow
it, and I promise it's not "for
insurance reasons". They
simply don't want to be scrutinized by experienced
drivers. We love scrutiny,
because scrutiny built our rock-solid reputation!
